About This Course

The N5 Short Course at Japan Dream Academy is an introductory program aimed at students who are new to the Japanese language. This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the essential skills needed to communicate in Japanese. Focusing on the basics of reading, writing, speaking, and listening, the N5 course is ideal for beginners who wish to build their language skills from the ground up. Students will gain a strong understanding of Japanese grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, laying the groundwork for the N5 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Course’s Objectives

The N5 Short Course aims to equip students with a solid understanding of the Japanese language, focusing on the fundamental aspects of communication. The course introduces the basic grammar structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation needed for simple Japanese conversations. Students will also be familiarized with the Japanese writing systems, including Hiragana and Katakana, which are essential for reading and writing. Learning Outcomes

• 1. Recognize and use approximately 100 kanji characters and 800 vocabulary words commonly used in daily life.
• 2. Read and write basic sentences using Hiragana, Katakana, and elementary Kanji characters.
• 3. Understand and use fundamental grammatical structures to form simple sentences in Japanese.
• 4. Engage in basic conversations, including introductions, greetings, asking simple questions, and making requests..
